Disney On Ice

On Wednesday Kyra and I went to Disney On Ice's Princess Wishes!! We dragged my sister Katie along too! Katie had never seen one. They are alot of fun. If you love Disneyland, it makes you want to go, oh so bad! Unfortunately Im a little bothered by the prices of tickets, and then the stuff they sell at the events. Seriously way overpriced. Its wrong! I was guilty of buying way too much the first time I took Kyra... We got the t-shirt for $20 and the frozen ice in the cool cup, that makes it $12 dollars, we got the cotton candy, with a hat for $10. And the spinny light thing that is $20. Of course I justified it that time because I was givin free tickets. But not this time!!! And Im proud of myself for that. And plus Kyra is cool with it, cause she wants all her money to be saved for a trip she is taking in April to Washington D.C. with my family minus me and Lee. More on that later.....
Anywho if you can....Go! Such a cool thing! It is still showing through Sunday! And here are some pics from the night.

A Dream Is A Wish....

February 23rd my sister Katie called me and asked if I had any plans for that night. I didn't thankfully. She said, I got you and early birthday present! And of course Kyra benefited from this also. :) Katie got us tickets to go see Ballet West's performance of Cinderella!!!! I have never seen a grown up professional ballet, and neither had Kyra. We were soooo excited!!!

And to continue the theme, Kyra and I, and my sister Katie are going to Disney On Ice: Princess Wishes tomorrow night!! Yay!! I love this stuff. If you have never been to a Disney On Ice show, you are seriously missing out! They are amazing!

Who's That Girl....

Well my friends, it's my dear sweet Kyra!! So awhile back Kyra really wanted me to post old pictures of fun things she has done, because she wants to share the good times with everyone. And I told her we could try to add some pics once in awhile. So I was looking through some pics on my computer and found these in some random place, and we thought we should share. Because some of our family and friends have never gotten to see these pics. So anyways.... Flashback......
3 years or so ago, Kyra was approached my an older lady who had been in the modeling business for many many moons, and just adored Kyra (at the grocery store) and asked us to come in. She was trying to start her own new business..... but due to illness and mismanagement it quickly fell apart....Long story short, Kyra had one day of photo shoots. SHe had a blast! She felt like a star! And we are happy to leave it at that!! I recommend to all, if you can do it, have a professional photo shoot! They get some cool, different shots!!! Here are a few of my favorites!!

Taking It To The Hoops...

Kyra played Jr. Jazz for the first time this year! She had lots of fun! Her coach was my brother Michael, and on her team was her cousin Elizabeth and girls from her neighborhood! They were a great group of girls. And they learned so much from this experience. Kyra is ready to play again, but with up coming ballet and vacations, it may be hard to fit it in!

They scheduled our teams pictures for right after thier game, so the girls were all sweaty and red faced! But so cute!

Girls Night!

Last Saturday night Kyra and I went down to Lehi, for a Girls Night at Mindy and Alyssa's home. We really had such a great night, and met lots of new, super nice people!! Again thanks to Mindy for inviting us to her home, and being so welcoming.
The night started with yummy yummy food from Carrabba's, Im sure I butchered the name, but Im sure I will have to have it again! Good stuff! We played some games, and then we ate Lots of ice cream goodness, and then the Rock Band action began! (see below) haha
